Susan and her 5 children had escaped Sudan 20 days before I met her. They left because bullets were flying and people were being killed all around her family.
Her husband is sick with cancer and could not make the trip due to the cost and his health. Her husband said, “You take the children and go.” She left him alone in the house with no one to care for him.
Susan says the situation in Juba is very bad. Trying to feed the children is the biggest struggle she is facing. There is no food, no money and no education for the children.
In spite of it all, she knows God is real and if she is patient, God will provide. She asks you to pray for the
Sudanese, the scattered families, and that refugee children will find the support they need.
