Board of Directors
Meet the governing board responsible for guiding the direction of our organization
Our board meets quarterly to review financials, plan our outreach and approve of our ministry's direction. We believe the accountability makes us stronger as an organization and take their direction seriously.
Scott Steinloski
Board President & CEO
Scott graduated from Lee University and started his career in radio. After 5 years, he began a successful advertising agency, In Touch Marketing, which created and implemented marketing plans and branding campaigns for corporations and nonprofit organizations. In 2014, he accepted the position of VP of Marketing and Communications for Partners International. While there, he and his wife Julie made a trip to film the work of pastors in the refugee camps of Northern Uganda. What they saw changed their life forever. Both Scott and Julie felt God was asking them to do more to help the starving, malnourished refugees they'd just met. In June 2018, Scott left Partners International to start Refugee Relief.
Julie Steinloski
Vice President
Julie graduated from the University of Colorado with degrees in International Affairs and French Language. She began her career as a French teacher in Boulder, CO. After teaching for five years, Julie accepted a French-speaking technical support position with General Electric. After nine years with GE, Julie founded a technology-driven vacation rental business in Coeur d’Alene, ID which she sold in 2015. Julie now holds an Advanced Salesforce Administrator certification and works in a technical capacity with both corporate and nonprofit organizations. Julie joined her husband Scott on a trip to Uganda in February 2018 where God placed a burden on her heart for those forced from their homes now living in refugee camps. She continues to work at her consulting business allowing her husband Scott to manage the daily operation of Refugee Relief.
Alli Beck
Secretary
Alli Beck is the owner of Alli Beck Design, a branding and website design business based in Sandpoint, Idaho. Alli started her career as a journalist, writing for a small daily newspaper in the Sierra foothills. After taking another newspaper job in Napa, California, she came across a nonprofit based at her church called Global Passion. She felt God calling her to leave her safe job and begin work with this ministry. In 2015, she was hired at Partners International as a writer and graphic designer. She worked as part of a team to fundraise for the work the organization was doing to reach the least reached people groups of the world. Now she helps businesses as they attempt to muddle through the hazy world of branding and website design. She has completed several projects for Refugee Relief on a contractor basis, and loves the ministry's mission and heart.
