A family like no other...

As soon as I stepped off the small plane in Adjumani, Uganda, I was invited to meet a special group of refugees who called themselves a family. I couldn't believe the incredible story they had to share with me. I quickly took out my phone and recorded a video.

During times of war, many children are left without parents. This group of kids became like a family because they witnessed their parents being killed in their own village. They decided to follow a blind man and his wife, who somehow survived, and together they left the country for safety. They walked through the forest for over a week to find a place of refuge. These children found comfort in staying together, and the blind man and his wife have been doing their best to take care of them.

I believe you care about refugee orphans suffering like this, just as much as I do. Here's how you can help make a difference.
